Samantha Destin

Samantha Destin is a Haitian-American artist based in South Florida and will be graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Studio Art in Spring 2023. Destin’s work consists of digital illustrations that explore the themes of identity, spirituality, and mental health and often uses bold colors and flowing lines. She draws inspiration from the works of David Hockney, Kehinde Wiley, and Michael Slusakowicz, which are reflected in her artistic style. Her first and most recent exhibition includes FAU’s BA Student Exhibition. Destin's art encourages the viewer to reflect on their connections to their identity and spirituality and inspire others.
