ROBERT ZIEGLER-GYER

Hello, my name is Robert Ziegler-Geyer. I am from Queens, New York and currently live in North Palm Beach, Florida. I will be graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Studio Art. Art has been a great passion and interest of mine ever since I was a little kid. I have a genetic bone condition called Multiple Hereditary Exostoses which has greatly impacted my life, and art is one of the few things I’ve been able to do without limitation. I have journeyed through many tough times and complications, and for this exhibition I thought it would only be fit if I did something self-reflective and introspective. I believe that looking within yourself, recognizing your strengths and combating your weaknesses and demons are an integral part of being human. It is important that we all just take a moment to look inside ourselves and reflect on where we’ve been and where we are going.
